This card  shows The " Uplistikhe " literally in Georgian  means The lords Fortress .,is an ancient rock-hewn town in Eastern Georgia some ten likometers east of the town of "Gori, Shida Kartli." built on a high rocky left bank of the Mtkvari River it contains  many  various structures dating from the early  Iron Age  to the Late Middle Ages and is notable for its  unique combinations of various styles of rock -cut ciltures ogf "Anatolia" and Iran and  as well as the co-existence of paganand Christian Architecture.. This is the 9th / 10th century three nave Basillica.
