Thanks for remembering us Guna..This is a great card and shows the Church of St Nicholas..The real Santa Clause a lovely multi view card also showing St. Nicholas in his Christmas Day dress. So..for any of you doubters out there...There really is a Santa Clause..
Saint Nicholas also known as Nicholas of Myra.was an historic fourth century Christian Saint and a Greek Bishop of Myra (Demre part of modern day Turkey ) in Lycia. Because of the many miracles attributed to his intercession he is also Known as Nicholas "The Wonder worker " He had a reputation for his gift giving such as putting coins in the shoes of those who left them out for him and thus became the model for Santa Clause from the Dutch ( "Sintercalass" ).Thanks again Guna..
