San Francisco. :                    Really old scene of the" Golden Gate Bridge "

 This is a really old card showing the Golden Gate Bridge.The Southern Gateway to the Redwood Empire..Built at a cost of $35,000,000 dollars it is the worlds tallest and longest single span bridge in the world.Two main cable Towers 746 feet tall and 4200 feet apart support master 36 1/2 inch steel cables from which is suspended a 90 foot wide six lane motor vehicle ( plus two pedestrian walks ) deck, 266 feet above the waters of the San Francisco Bay..WOW..This card was produced in 1944.
