Thanks Mel for this card from your travels ..Card shows the Mississippi State flag..but not for long apparently.!!! .. The official State Flag of Mississippi was adopted in 1894 replacing The older Magnolia Flag, which had been adopted in 1861 after Mississippi secceded from the Union. Today the Mississippi State Flag has a small "Confederate Battle flag "in the upper left hand corner it is also called "The Union Square" .There are thirteen white stars and horizontal blue white and red attatched stripes on a St Andrews Cross..Thank you Mel for this card..and I agree with what you say..
