A great view of the big Market place in Saigon" The Ben Thanh Market".. I have used this market a lot and chose this as a souvenir card to post home...really big bonus with the local girls in National Dress Bao Dai and really lucked out with the stamps...sometimes you can be lucky.This was on my re-visit to Vietnam and another stop over on my "Around the World by Train" . So good to catch up with friends again here. Always good to visit my friend again and a few beers at the "Hard Rock Cafe " as there was one here in Saigon..Ho Chi Min City (Saigon ) as locals call it..is such a real ants nest of people and for the pedestrian somewhat of a nightmare crossing busy streets with the thousands of motorcycles wall to wall ...so..crossing is a real challenge and best is to just 'Walk".. all the cyclists will drive around you.. but the worst thing to do is to "Stop" in the middle of the road..this practice of crossing busy streets is a normal day occurrence ..but not for the faint hearted.
