This is a really lovely colourful card showing the Massed Bands of the Brigades of Guards with the Mounted Bands of The Household Cavalry in Ceromonial Dress at the rear..This is a huge celebration of British Pageantry "Beating The Retreat " by the Queens Household Divisions held at Horse Guards Parade every year to celebrate the Queens Birthday. This is spectacular to watch and of course listening to the different Guards Regiments marching and playing their Regimental songs..I have watched this on three occasions and is nothing short of a spectacular Ceremony of British Military tradition of the various Guards Divisions, their music, precision marching and Parade drill..These guardsmen are all combat soldiers and part of the British Defence Forces, not just skilled musicians..
