F'W'D OF THE BRIDGE SHOWING SIZE OF THIS HUGE BATTLESHIP

HONOLULU.: HAWAII.:   Today I have come especially here to Pearl harbour once again this time to visit the Battleship  "USS MISSOURI " BB63 one of four Iowa Class Battleships built in WWII. These four Battleships  The USS Iowa, Wisconsin , New Jersey and the Missouri are the biggest battleships still around today... They are all now decomissioned by The US. Navy and are all National Museums in various locations in the country and I will endeavour to see them all.
The USS. Wisconsin is in Norfolk VA. , The USS New Jersey is in Camden N.J. The USS. Iowa is in Los Angeles CA. and The USS Missouri is here in the Naval yard in Pearl Harbour HI. The major significance with the USS Missouris's notoriety as it was aboard this vessel that the Surrender of all Japanese Forces took Place .with the signing by all the Allied countries and the Japanese  on 02 September 1945. A large brass plaque on the deck of the USS.MISSOURI now marks the spot where this took place This is a huge battleship and used right up until as late as "Desert Storm" and recent middle eastern conflicts..This ship has many proud battle Stars and I had previously visited this ship when it was in Sydney Harbour . This was one of the many places I visited in Hawaii during my stay on my way to USA mainland to begin my "Around the World ( USA ) by train journeys. June 2103.
