  What a great card showing a map of the cityof Santa Fe in  1882.. Thank you so much Barbara for this great card I love it !1also the Bugs Bunny stamps.. what a great series of stamps they are.
  The City of Santa Fe NM was originally occupied by Indigenous Americans  who had built a number of Pueblo villages 1050 to 1150 One of the most earliest settlements in what is today the city of Santa Fe.

  What a great train card ! I have been lucky and received some great train cards lately for my collection,.  This card shows The "Blackmore Vale: No.  21C123." belongs to The Bulleid,s West Country Class ...a lighter version of The Pacifics which were designed to provide a much more powerful engine  to work over the lightly laid west country lines.
 Thank you Geoffrey for this fine card and also the great stamps especially the Bridge stamp from that series of famous English bridges.

 A Unesco World Heritage card is always great to receive as these special places  are unique in may ways and different catergories. This is a surprise card and it shows the old salt works closed in 1962 and now. a big tourist attraction and made a Unesco World heritage site in  2009 in addition to the Royal Salt Works of Arc.!! Thank you Blue for this great card

 This is a most recent realease by Australia Post in a series called "fossils." Thes cards were a first day release on the 17th of August 2020 in Lightning Ridge  N.S.W.  2834 an area famous for fossiled opal..

Top left card : The Megaraptorid  Therepod Dinosaur. "Lightning claw "

Top right card: The Bunya Pinecone.

Bottom left card : Fossilised "Moon Snail"

 A lovely colourful card showing this gun carriage with accompnying honour guard at a burial ceremony at Arlington National Cemetary in Arlington Virginia. just outside of Washington D.C. This particular cemetary holds the resting place for over 400,000 active duty service members ,Veterans and family members . This Cemetary originated in The American Civil War and many of its Northern casualties are  buried there..Ulyses S Grant was determined to take this particular area of land and use it as a cemetary to bury his  Union soldier fatalities  as it was the grounds of Robert E Lees mothers home grounds..Robert E Lee being his enemy in the conflict.Thank you Arnold for this swap card .. I visited this National cemetary many times while living in Washington DC.

What a fantastic  card !!  The card is fo the "famous  Paris- Lyon Mediteranee  Simplon -" Orient Express"  The famous train that ran from London to Istanbul..  a true legend of the steel rails and many stories and even movies made about the fanmous people and their exploits on this train .. The Orient Express used to travel from London to Paris in France to  Bucharest in Roumania to Athens in Greece and then onto Constantinople ( todays Istanbul..  This was an amzing train journey to take in those times and was only for the very  rich..I am a real train lover and can only omagine what this incredible trip must have been like on this luxurious train trip..Thank you so much Francois for this marvellous train card for my collection.. fantastic.. I love it !!
