A lovely card arrived from Oostende in Belgium. This is a port that hancles ferries from the Uk and various other ports . The card shows a lovely square rigged Sailing tall ship flying what appears to be a dutch flag with beach and many bathers and thelighthouse in the forefround. A surprise card has arrived this is from an American Postcrosser and sent this card from her recebttrio to Canada for a celebration. The card shows The Stone Fort Niagra Lighthouse that was constructed in 1871 and and is visible for 25 miles on Lake Ontarion.

A lighthouse card arrived today as well and I like these cards as no two lighthouses are the same. This is from Singapore and is The Fort Canning Lighthouse . The lighthouse is located on the top of Fort Canning Hill and was one of 13 lighthouses gurading the Straits of Malacca. Located nearby with the :Flagstaff " and the time bell these three naviagational structures played an essentilal role in the Navigational history of Singapore.

I always love to receive a postcard with a lighthouse and I find it amazing how so many around the world can be so different This is most welcomed and will add it to my lighthouse collection.There is no information on the card regarding the location !. A nice lighthouse cad from Finland There is no information on the card on script on the front of the card . and see its location in the far south of the country on the map ! Another lighthouse card for my collection. . This lighthouse is vey large I guess accomodation that is ! Lighthouses can be all so different..Thank you Seija for this nice card.
