LOCATION:  of The seychelles is in the western Indian Ocean.
ECOSYSTEM.: The Ecosystem protection in The Seychelles , half of the limited landmass in the country is taken up by National Parks and Reserves.
FAMOUS.: The Seychelles is the home of the heaviest land tortoise in the world.her name is Esmerelda and The animal weighs 304 kilograms and can be seen on Bird Island.
SOCIETY : The Seyscelles is known as a Matriachial society as the mothers are tending to be most dominant in the household.
HISTORY :  Dicovery of The Seychelles : The earliest recorded sightings by Europeans was in 1502 by The Portuguese Admiral Vasco da Gama.The earliest recorded landing was in January 1609.
INDEPENDENCE.:was on the 29th June 1976 from the UK.

ISLANDS : Known as the 115 Island country of which 43 belong to the Inner Islands and 72 belong to five Coral Atolls and the reefs of the Outer Islands .

PIRATES :  Also known as The Land of Pirates the pirates used to seek out these Islands as a hideout and it is believed that a treasure worth more than $160,000 dollars was hidden by Olivier Levasseur at the time 

GIANT TORTOISE : The Aldabra Giant Tortoise is one of only two species of Giant Tortoise on the planet and dwell only in The Seychelle Islands.

JAMES BOND : Ian Fleming came to The Seychelle Islands in 1958 to find inspiration for the next saga in his next spy novel ." FOR YOUR EYES ONLY "

LODOICEA : Also called a sea coconut is a symbol of The Seychelles and also endemic to the Seychelles is the largest seed on earth its fruit is 50-70 cm long while male and female Lodoicea  have different shapes.

POSTCROSSERS : There are only 9 Post crossers in The Seychelle Islands.
