This one entitled "local postbox" looks to be in an isolated place in the mountains like in Darjeeling  I wonder how busy it is a,nd how often that it would be cleared  ..looks cold there !!  Thank you Poonam for thinking of me and also the nice stamps. This card shows the "Post Bus " that used to operate in the 60's and provided transport for residents  of outlying areas hat were affected by the huge cuts(then) in train services .As mentioned what a great idea to deliver the mail and passengers togeather .Thank you so much Jemma!

  I always love to receive these Postcrossing meet up cards and look to see who signed and who the attendees were  This ia a great card of the recent Postcrossing and was the 10th Annual Singapore mmeet up  event held on the 10 October 2021.of local postcrossers and so good to see so many different personal stamps of those attending..  I am not sure in all the signees who actually sent the card but   I really appreciate it and thank you all..This is a surprise card and maybe sent by Ray Choo..if so thank you ..

The first Bulgarian Postcard was issued in 1892 the time of the First Agricultural and  Industrial Exhibition in Plovdiv.. with the postal laws of 1897 various organisations and individuals started issueing new postcards . Before that time illustrated postcards had only been issued on special occasions.

The card shows The Vickers Vimy Aircraft and cew  Lietenant Keith Smith with Sergeants James Bennett and Walter Sheirs..The card was realeased "First Day" oi October 2019  in Fannie Bay  Parap 2028 Northern Territory

This is a really great card  commemorating the Centennary of the first Aerial Postal flight from England to Australia. that took place from 12 to the 10 Decemeber 1919..what a great card.. This was a first day of release and was released by Australia Post10 October 2019 in Fannie Bay NT .

A surprise card with "Postal "theme that I like recently arrived from a good friend in the UK.. Thanks Jemma you know that I love this theme of cards.. This card shows The Royal Mail "Holyhead to Liverpool " Mail Run in 1828. This is a reproduction from a stamp issued by the Post Office in 1984.

A great card just arrived from a friend in England ..The card shows the Travelling Post office which was a big part of the Royal Mail system.This is a multi -view card showing some of the various scenes of the Travelling Post Office train... I am not sure if this Post Office Train is any longer in service. !!! Thanks also for the nice stamps..Thank you so much Jemma for this great card..

What a great card..everynow and again I receieve a really special card that is a real "standout ".and this is such a card .This is a surprise card from now a friend in the Uk and has sent me this great card that is two of my favourite themes that I really like Postal and Trains.
This card shows The Post Office underground railway train at Mount Pleasant mail sorting office  This Royal Mail train  that was used in the biggest mail sorting room in the UK and ran from 1927 till 2003 and is now a part of the Postal Museum. Thank you so much Emma for this great card.. I love it

A lovely card showing the many and various styles of Pillar Post boxes that have been in use and many are still today across The British Isles and the Commonwealth of countries..I enjoy these when I see them in various parts of Australia and always photograph them as each different design is from a different period in time..I have some that I will add to this post...more when I find them..

In the British Isles, the first pillar post boxes were installed in 1852. Between 1866 and1879 the hexagonal "Penfold" Post box became the standard design for pillar boxes and also during that period the colour red was first adapted as the standard colour to be used.
Thank you Tony for this postcard request.. I really like it as I collect postboxes also.
