  A great Baseball field card for my Collection.  Thank you so much Corey for this Postcrossing swap card showing the " Coors Field " home of the  "Colorado Rockies" Major League Baseball team. Built in 1995 this stadium can seat 50,000 baseball fans and is an updated version of the  classic urban ballpark and has also views of the rocky Mountains  thanks Corey for this great card . I love Coors beer !!

At last a card in the mail..!!! hard to beleive that there is very little if any !!!This card took 75 days from the USA to Sydney.. WOW.. I am waiting on so many vcards that I know that have been sent and hopefully one day they will arrive !!
 This card is another in my bird and stae bird collection showing the "Lark Bunting" Stae Bird of Colorado..  and apparently is the only black bird in all of the State bird collection.. also there is the lovely Stae Flower The Rocky Mountain Columbine. .. Thank you Arnold  so pleased that thus has arrived and await patiently for others to arrive.

I like Bridge cards as they can be so different while serving the same purpose..bridges of the world I really like to receive.. The Royal Gorge Bridge Colorado.: The suspension bridge at Royal Gorge hangs 1053 ft. ( 321 meters ) above The Arkansas River. Views of the canyon and The Sangre de Christo mountains are offered to all those driving or walking across this fine bridge.

A lovely black /white card showing this great group of "cowgirls".. what a great card Thank you once again Melissa..The card entitled "Cowgirls" shows this group of women dressed in cowgirl clothes including "ten gallon" hats , boots and embroided dresses. All of these women were very well known participants in Rodeo events and The Pendleton Round-up held regularly in Pendleton  Oregon.
This is a photograph by Ralph Russel Doubleday in 1923.A historic photograph..

 I really like this card and the trees are truly wonderful..The card shows The "Quaking Aspen" (populus-tremuloides ) found in mountain Forrests throughout Colorado, the white bark Aspen is best known for its brilliant gold colours which appear in fall (autumn ).An entire stand of Aspen can be generated from a single root system. Thank you Arnold for this great swap.. I really like it..

 A wonderfully colourful postcard from "The Garden of The Gods " in Colorado.. What a lovely card..Thanks again Melissa you spoil me two in one day..The card states that the frozen formations of The Garden of The Gods attracts millions of visitors to this un- paralelled sandstone garden. This giant sandstone formation, appropriately named "The Balanced Rock" stands so precariously on its small base. The soft shale material of the base eroded quicker than the more resilient sandstone above creating this amazing spectacle.. a lovely card..thanks again Mel..

Silverton : Col.                               " Durango Silverton Railroad"

 Locomotive 482 leaves Silverton on its trek back to Durango,and without a doubt the most scenic 45 mile train ride in the world.

 A great scene of this General Motors Diesel locomotive traveling through the Royal Gorge under the highest suspension Bridge in the world..This train runs on the Cannon City and Royal Gorge Railroad and passes through  some spectacular scenery in the Royal Gorge in Colorado.... Originally built in the 1880's The loop was hailed as an engineering marvel .Re dedicated in the 1980's This scenic railroad travels Between Georgetown and Silver Plume through some of the most spectacular scenery in Colorado. Durango and Silverton .Colorado..
 A fine card showing The D.&.S.N.G.R.R.  The Oldest continuously operating narrow gauge Railway line in the United States.One hundred plus years has gone by  This is still the scene..A passenger train loaded with tourists makes it s way to Durango from Silverton..

Durango Colorado :  Durango and the Animas Valley as viewed from the heights northwest of the city, and one can see the narrow gauge train on its daily trip to Silverton 53 miles to the north.
