This is another in this lovely photographic series of "first day release " cards from the Australian Antarctic Territory recently released by Australia Post  depicting famous photos take by John Hurley of an expedition to the Territory. This card shows the Icebound bow of the "Endurance" which I am sure for all concerned was a worrying experience.This photograph is from the National Library of Australia.

 Thank you for this lovely card Eliska...I really like black and white photography cards...also the subjects...smile...This unfortunately is no information on the card only Michal Tuma who I guess is the photographer and Ladka (30 .8 .2007 ) also is probably the model.. So pleased that you have had such a great hot summer of which I know you really enjoy..now is Spring here and is quite nice with great sunny days,,summer is coming...yayyyyy...Thanks again for thinking of me..
