  So nice to hear from you again Chloe ..  so sorry to hear of your Mums passing I  cant imagine how hard that must have been for you my dear.. my sympathy is with you..hugs ! Yes I know the post is so bad these days due to this dreadful Pandemic  I see that this card has taken nearly three months to arrive.. and I receive not many cards these days  I am sure that there is a lot out teir in "Poscard land" This is a nice map / fact card of the Philippines and I thank you for it .This is a surprise card .

 I love festival cards and also masks.. This card shows people celebrating the "Moriones Festival " in Marinduque Philippines celebrating Holy Easter Monday and Easter Sunday;

The Moriones refers to the masked and costumed perments who take part in the re eenactment of the Legend of Longuinus and the passion of the Christ Morions . They roam the streets of the town from Holy Monday to easter Sundayscaring the children and engaging in anticsor surprises to draw attention.. This festival is characterised by colourful Roman costumes,  brightly painted masks , helmets and tunics.

A really nice card showing the Taoist Temple in Cebu City. The Temple is located in the residential community of Beverly Hills , about 6 kilometers north of the downtown area of Cebu City.The resident monks here will read your fortune if you climb the 99 steps and then light a joss stick.

What a lovely card showing these lovely Sinulog Festival Queens in their splendid dresses and headgear..just so colourful. This \\this Festival of The festival Queens is held in cebu City and is held every 3rd.Sunday of January a religious festival in honor of The Holy child Jesus..(see the images held by the queens ).This is a time that sees much entertainment with street dancing and various other entertainment all over Cebu CityThe name of the dance is called "Sinulog" and is derived from the root word "sulog"meaning water current .This is the name of the dance  (Sinulog ) That bthe candle sellers do when they request the prayer to Santo Nino.( Child Jesus.). Thank you Chloe...lovely card.

 This card from Mactan Island , Cebu City shows artisans making guitars.Cebu City is famous for its finely handcrafted guitars.Manibago on Mactan Island is the centre for the guitar making industry. A local craftsman needs one month to construct and complete a guitar. Thank you Angel for this card.
