This is onoe in a series of first day release maxi cards  in a set  entitled Australia 's "extinct volcanoes"..I really liked this lovely card out of the series and Shows Lord Howe Islad.  What a magnificent place. This is in the location of the State of New South Wales and is a very popular destination. This was realeased first day in Lord Howe Island  2898 on  July 13 2021.

Lorde Howe Island is an irregularly crescent shaped volcanic remnant in The Tasman Sea between Australia and New Zealand, located directly 600 kilometers east of the Australian mainland at Port Macquarie New South Wales.and about 900 kilometers from Norfolk Island . Most of the islands population live in the north while in the south the Island is dominated by forrested hills to the highest point of the island which is Mount Gower at 578 mtrs (2,781 ft. ). The Lord Howe Island group consists of 28 Islands and rocks. to the north is the Admiralty group of Islands.Lord Howe Island is a Unesco World Heritage site.and is governed by the Lord Howe Island Board...Only 400 tourists are allowed on the Island at any one time...Born of much volcanic activity Lord Howe is a popular Island for Australians on vacation.
