What a nice card showing these two little Icelandic Houses please note the "earth clodding" on the roofs for insulation from the fierce cold weather ....so nice to receive a card from Iceland as I dont get many and two from the same person tis week awesome. What agreat scene that is ! A lovely sunset card that is as the "MS Nordcapp" leaves the Harbour in Tromso Norway.. I cetainly would like to be on that ship as it heads to its destination in the Lofoten Islabds.. A surprise in my mailbox.!! I love women cards and especially women in National dress not "Natural dress" Ha I love it .!!. I quite often get them mixed up with Bobcats.. I know they are found in different locations. though ! These cards are my favourites that show lovely women in their traditional dress and this one is just so nice showing these women wearing their "Giddha" dresses a popular folk dance of women in the Punjab region. A card has arrived fro Ekaterinburg in The Urals area of Russia,,I remeber this place well as it was a stop on my train joutney ( Trans Mongolian ) across Russia.. I remeber gettingoff the train and the thermometer on the station register - 8 degrees C.. it was very cold.. This is a Postcrossing card and shows what I ove books ...especially Geography and the maps etc.. still being in lockdown seems one needs lots of books and re read the favourites once again..Thank you so much Lyubov for this card and kind message take care also..

This is onoe in a series of first day release maxi cards in a set entitled Australia 's "extinct volcanoes"..I really liked this lovely card out of the series and Shows Lord Howe Islad. What a magnificent place. This is in the location of the State of New South Wales and is a very popular destination. This was realeased first day in Lord Howe Island 2898 on July 13 2021.
What a great card that has just arrived from Japan showing the Shinkansen "Bullet Train". this Bullet train runs between Fukoka and Hiroshima and is in the livery of "Kitty " sponsered livery and is a big hit with the children,. The shape of the train.. is easy to see the aerodynamics of it and why it is called "The Bullet "train. I love train travel and whenever I can I ride the worlds great tains .This train is a must and I hope one day to cross it of my list of ".must dos " list Thank you Kevin Arrigato for this great card for my train card collection.
