COFFEE.:  Puerto Rico produces some of the best coffee in the world .There are 10,000 + coffee farms producing more than 20 million pounds of coffee annually
RADIO TELESCOPE:..The Arecibo Radio Telescope which is the largest Radio Telescope in the world is situated in Puerto Rico. and is used to observe asteroids in space.
NATIONAL ANIMAL:  in Puerto Rico is the "Coqui Frog."
FROGS.:  Coqui Frogs This inch long amphibian has a very powerful and melodic voice its high pitched chirpy song can be heard for miles and they sing from dusk to dawn.
HISTORY : The Island was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493 one year after he discovered the Americas.He named it San Juan Bautista after John the Baptist.
BEACHES: Puerto Rico has several blue sandy beaches.and the sand appears blue due to its high content of iron.
