The name Oklahoma comes from the Choctaw words "okla" meaning people , and "humma" meaning red. Oklahoma has the largest Native American Indian population of any State. Many of the Native Americans living in Oklahoma today are decendents from the original 67 tribes inhabiting the Indian territory. Tank you again Benita...you spoil me.
