Brazil

Brasil.

When I saw this lovely card of this Toucan I thought that I would get it for myself. A really nice colourful card of this magnificent bird..
Toucans are  located in the Neo tropics and are members of the " Ramphastidae " of near Passerine birds..and are most closely related to American Barbets..they are strikingly marked and have large and often very colourful beaks. The name of this bird group is derived from the "Tupi" word Tukana ( Portuguese.).
The colourful and large beak which in some large species sometimes measures more than half the length of the body is such a prominent feature of this colourful bird..Toucans are native to Southern Mexico and Central America and the northern parts of South America and the Carribbean..They generally live in sub tropical and sub-tropical regions.
