A Postcard United card has just arrived and is a nice colourful card showing the Lighthouse at Dornbusch..originally designated as the "leuchtfeuer " Located in the north of the Island of Hiddensee Mecklenburg western Pomerania on the Baltic Coast. The Lighthouse stands at 27 meters high and was constructed in 1887 /1888. Visitors to the lighthouse nust be at least six years old as the winds can be extremely strong and can reach Force 6. When these strong winds occur The lighthouse is closed for safety reasons..
