THE GLADESVILLE  BRIDGE   SYDNEY ..N.S.W.

A good shot of The Gladesville Bridge here in Sydney close to where I live i use this bridge quite often to travel to the northern parts of the city.Located a few kilometers upstream from The Harbour Bridge This single arch bridge was constructed across the Parramatta River  and was completed construction and opened in October 1964...and was then the largest single span concrete Bridge in the world.The dimensions are : Length: 580 meters ( 1. 900 feet ) Height :45 meters (148 feet )  Span :305 Meters ( 1000 feet).Linking the suburbs of Huntley Point and Drummoyne this concrete span bridge is one of three bridges built as part of the North Western Expressway and is the longest concrete span bridge ever constructed.
This is a recent first day release bridge series maxi  cards by Australia Post.

THE SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE

Sydney:  AUSTRALIA.

A great view card of The Sydney Harbour Bridge (also know locally as the coat hanger )  showing a spectacular scene of the New Years Eve celebrations fireworks off the Bridge..many hundreds of thousands of visitors and locals come to view this spectacle and line the harbour's foreshores to get a good vantage point...This New Years Eve firework display is reputed to be one of the finest in the world. A truly great event to witness.

This is a lovely Australian wildlife card released by Australia Post and shows tow beautiful Dingo dogs..A native species and still some left to be not interbred..Found throughout Australia and offshore Islands.

THE SYDNEY ANZAC BRIDGE

Sydney.: AUSTRALIA.:

This is a nice card showing the "Anzac Bridge" in Sydney City..This Commemoration bridge has the  monument figures of two Servicemen one a New Zealander ..and the other an Australian that form the Anzac alliance and their is a figure at each end of the bridge. Anzac means.= Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.This alliance was formed after a joint force action in The Dardenelles in WW I..
