This Postcard Uniting meeting card is one from the recent meeting held in Croydon, Sydney, Australia on the 19 August 2018. This was a small Post Card United meeting and attended by only a few people and was held at the "Post Card Fair" in Croydon that is held every six months..Literally thousands of postcards for the sender and the collector..So many tables with such varied cards...also to be found are old magazines , comics , novels and books.This was my first Postcard United meetup.
This was the meet up card released on the day..

United States of America

Oklahoma ; USA.

 This is a great card from Oklahoma USA showing the various Indian tribes areas and their names within the state.
This is a very interesting card and shows the many and varied tribal names.. When recently visiting Oklahoma I visited a reservation of Choctaw and Chickasaw peoples ..looking at their culture and the so many ways that they live today..a special museum and are showing various clothes the teaching of their native languages along with their many arts and crafts,,I was dissapointed that we couldn't stay longer as it was late in the day and the area was closing..A special thanks to my friends who took me there for this visit.. I really loved Oklahoma.  Thank you Lukas for this nice map card.
 INDIAN TERRITORY  OKLAHOMA
   Oklahoma,s name is derived from two Choctaw words , Okla = meaning people and Humma = red people..literally red people. There are currently 39 Native American tribes living in Oklahoma.and Oklahoma has the second largest native American population of any state in the Union.

Another great card..and check out the great EU stamp.showing "The Hardanger Bridge"  in a fog !! Thank you Joey...very thoughtful of you to send this as I was looking for a card of this great spot" Preikestolen" located in southern Norway so much wanted to go there when I was in Stavanger ...I am angry now that I didn't. Norway and its amazing fjords are really something to see..The scenery is truly wonderful.I was lucky to see so much on my drive to the Nord Cape. and midnight sun.

A great surprise card from a friend traveling in South Africa...Thank you so much Marie for remembering me on your travels...such a surprise did not know you were down that way..
The multi- view card shows some scenes of Robben Island located just off the coast of South Africa famous for it being where Nelson Mandella and many others were incacerated.A nice aerial view of  Robben  Island .and Table Mountain,.The ferry for access to the Island , the lighthouse that was activated in 1865 ,and the prison cell of the famous Nelson Mandella.
