CAPITAL CITY: The Capital city of Kazakhstan is Almaty.
POPULATION : of Kazakhstan is 17,563, 300 inhabitants.
SPACE : The first artificial space satellite  , Sputnik 1 and also the first man launched into space " Yuri Gagarin" have been launched into space from  Kazakhstan's Baikonur Cosmodrome.
FOOD:  "ALMATY" All sorts of Apples in the world are derived from Almaty. Almaty means " A place full of Apples "or Apple City. Almaty is also home of the biggest apples called "Aport"
LAKE : The Lake Balkhashin  Kazakhstan is one of the largest lakes in the world.One part of the lake contains fresh water and the other is made up of Salt water !!
FAMOUS KAZAKHISTANIS : include ,Al-Farabi , Gennady Golovkin , Marat Bisengaliyev , Marat Zhylanbayev.

What a lovely card this is for a swap from a fellow swapper in The Czech Republic...Great card and shows a baby Lowland Tapir. Born at the \prague Zoological park May 19th 2015.  Toby boast  a father hailing all the way from the USA.which makes him genetically very valuable. Like all "Tapirs" this little guy came into the world sporting "striped pyjamas" a colouration he will eventually trade for the brown fur of adults..

Thank you for this card and matching stamp release Anny... The card shows the large Zahir Mosque in Alor Setar. Kendah , Malaysia.This reputed to be the biggest and oldest Mosque in all of Malaysia.built in 1912. The Architecture of this Mosque resembles that of the mosque in Longkat Sumatra.
