AMTRAK #174 NORTHEAST REGIONAL.WASHINGTON DC TO BOSTON .
A scenic card from a really scenic area...here for a visit with friends to this lovely town and also to enjoy some great food and hospitality.. this is typical USA train travel with no seat allocations !!! "first on best seats " !!! This was a interesting journey that took me through a further seven states. and we lost a lot of time along the way due to stoppages..This meant that the last part of the journey was very fast and one could be forgiven if they thought they might be on "The Silver Streak"...so good to reach Boston ( Back Bay Station) where I was met by friends..Great to be back in lovely Boston.Once again I walk "The Freedom Trail , this time visit and go aboard the USS Constitution oldest US warship afloat also visit the Naval Maritime Museum and check out a WW II Destroyer..a great week is spent here with friends.This is a souvenir card from my visit here on my "Around the World by Train" US.journeys ..
