Another great card from a great card swap friend in USA...Hey mate...thanks for this card .. I love it .!!..I saw this when I was visiting Tis Ford Museum.. This amazing museum has just so much unbelievable items to be seen...and at least a long full day is needed. This is one for your bucket list...Being a Ford man and growing up and owning many early model Fords this Museum had many memories for me..
The card shows Abraham Lincolns chair: President Abraham Lincoln was assasinated by John Wilkes Booth on April 14th 1865 while sitting in this chair in Fords Theatre in Washington DC. Henry Ford aquired the chair from the original owner some 60 years later and put it on display in his incredible Museum.
( The inset is photo ) is a the last photograph of Abraham Lincoln made by Alexander Gardiner shortly before Lincolns death.
