This is a souvenir card I sent home from my recent visit here ..This is such a lovely part of the old run down Station that used to be The largest and most beautiful Railway Station in the USA that was opened on September1st 1894..The gem of the Station was The Grand Hall with its gold leaf and Romanesque Arches, with 65 foot Barrel vaulted ceiling and stained glass windows..This is truly still a magnificent part of this Station still so beautiful...no longer the Railway Station..sadly..
