FOOD : Rice and Curry is the staple dish in Sri Lanka.and is often eaten from a banana leafand traditionally eaten with the hands and (without cutlery )as is every other meal.
TREE.: "Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi" is a sacred fig tree found in the Mahamewna Gardens Anuradrapura .and was planted in 249 BC and is the oldest living human planted tree i the world with a known planting date.
