Like all Capital Cities in the country locals love their favourite surfing beaches..Perth has some wonderful beaches for the locals to enjoy..from top( left. to right ) Scarborough, Rottnest Island, Hillary's Beach and Cottesloe Beach.
This was a favourite stop on my "Around the World by Train" journey This was the end of The" Indian Pacific Train " journey across Australia..This being one of the longest train journeys in the world. Perth is a lovely City and a wonderful place to spend time it has a great local transport system with most in the city being free..also many things to see and do with a wonderful sunny climate... I also had friends to visit here and did a long road-trip through the south western part of the state..It was so good to have a swim in the Indian Ocean after a few days before swimming in the Pacific ocean.Such a wonderful country to travel in is Australia..
