| "YEAR OF THE HORSE" 2014 |
Today I received a really lovely card from Taiwan and it was a Chinese New Year card...amongst my favourite cards to collect..This is an exceptionally lovely card showing the Horse on the card made with macrame..Also the stamps are always lovely on the Chinese New Year releases.
People born in The Year of The Horse are intuitive and practical. In 663 BC after fighting marauding invaders from the north, Premier Guan Zhongs army was hopelessly lost in a valley due to the onset of winter. Guan Zhong wondered if horses, like dogs , could always find their way home ? When several of the old horses were freed, without hesitation they found their way out and led the army home..
