ISN'T THIS A GREAT IDEA......SO COOL. !!

My First visit to   Chicago, is my arrival on the "Empire Builder Service" from Seattle..the train is five hours late...and takes a further two hours to get into the Station when we arrive.I can't believe we are seven hours late !!!. I'm tired,  it's late and as I am only staying briefly,  I want to reach my nights accomodation as quickly as I can., my next train is tomorrow morning and that is The #352 "Wolverine Service" from Chicago to Detroit. Here I am meeting a great friend in the evening who is meeting me at the Station !! I hope this Train is on time.as I .have heard a lot about Detroit !!
Chicago though  has a great feel to it. I look forward to my return. so much I want to do and see here.
       Chicago's skyline is the worlds tallest and ranks amongst its most magnificent. it boasts three of the tallest and if you include the antennae on top , The Willis Tower is the tallest skyscraper in the world..The term "skyscraper" originated in the architecture of this city. This really is an amazing building to visit. You have to like heights and extremely fast elevators. There are usually very long queues here to access the top of the building..but its worth the wait and the cost.To stand in the glass box on the side of the building is not for anyone with vertigo.
 This was a Souvenir Card posted home from my visit here in July 2013. This was a wonderful stop on my "Around the World by Train " after arriving on The Empire Builder Service from Seattle  WA my original stay is brief.
