La Tour Eiffel 1887-1889. The Eiffel Tower is so synonomous with thoughts of Paris..Construction  began in 1887 and was finished 1889. The Eiffel Tower stands 985 feet high, and is a long walk up.. This is a superb photo ..Thank you Terry for sending me this from your travels..
