United States of America.

Cave in Rock State Park. Illinois..The earliest written record of this was French in the year 1729. Through the times this are was a hideout for Robbers ,Pirates, Killers and Counterfitters. Later it was used as shelter for pioneers heading west. Now there is a boat ramp for fishing, picknicking and camping . Along the Ohio River near the town of "Cave in Rock" Southern Illinois.
Thank you Paris for this great card..Posted 15 February 2011. Thank you..
