Card depicts : The New South Wales XPT..Train to Melbourne Victoria. This was my first journey to begin the second leg of my "Around The World by Train journey. A very early start from Sydney on The XPT to Melbourne.This journey to Melbourne was an exciting one where I would stay for a week while visiting friends. The train is comfortable and the food is excellent and fairly priced Melbourne is Known as "The Worlds Most Liveable City "and is easy to see why I believe the biggest win for Melbourne is the vast amount of wonderful and varied restaurants and cafes offering the best food anywhere..I am lucky the weather is wonderful for the whole of my stay ,and enables me to do some side trips in this great state. for it is then that I take the next train link to the west which was "The Overlander" to Adelaide South Australia,crossing the very southern part of Victoria.
