Here is a card that shows the celebration of The Vesak /Wesak Festival held in Sri Lanka.. This is considered to be a cultural as well as a religious festival and celebrated on the first full moon in May. Vesak day is one of the biggest days of the year on the Buddhist calendar. This is also celebrated by Buddhists all over the world..The card shows the Buddhists with their food bowls.I witnessed this on my travels through Myanmar ( Burma ) a few years ago.
