Detroit: Michigan: USA.
I really love to receive the "Did You Know " cards. They are so informative and don't arrive very often..This particular card shows Henry Ford ..the inventor of the "production line" of manufacturing of course Henry Ford became a worldwide name with it.
Henry Ford ( July 30 1863 -April 07 1947 ) The founder of The Ford motor Company and the father of the modern assembly lines used in mass production. His introduction of the Model "T " automobile revolutionised transportation and American industry. He was a prolific inventor and was awarded 161 U.S. patents. As owner of the Ford Motor Company he became one of the richest men in the world.
Recently I visited The Ford Museum in Dearborne Michigan and must say it is one of the best museums that I have ever seen. and well worth the visit if you are ever close by.especially if you loved the old Fords as I do...they are all there..amazing. Thanks Arnold for this great card..
