Once again I receive another Card for my collection of "Greetings From" cards..This time from a friend in Belarus.
I really like collecting this series of cards with their facts and figures posted from Origin countries..

POPULATION of Belarus is 9,485,300
POSTCROSSING members in Belarus is over 22,600
SYMBOL: The symbol of Belarus is The White Stork.
BELARUS : is called "The Blue Eyed Country" and is because of the more than 10,000 lakes and the 2,000 rivers and streams that are there.
FAMOUS BELARUSIANS: Yanka Kupala , Darya Domracheva , FrancyskSkaryna , Victoria Azarenka.
FOOD: Draniki , Kolduny , Babka Kleiski are popular dishes made with grated potato served with sour cream.
NATIONAL PARK: Belavezhskaya Pushcha is a famous National Park within Belarus and neighbouring Poland and is the only place where Euoprean Bison still remain.
FORRESTS: cover nearly one third of Belarus and the timber is an abundant and Important resource
HIGHEST: The highest point in Belarus is Dzyarzhynskaya Hara and is 345 Meters above sea level.
