SYMBOL : of Singapore is The Merlion. a figure which is half Fish and half Lion.
ISLANDS:Singapore consists of one Main island and 63 smaller island of which few are inhabited.
NATIONAL FLOWER.:of Singapore is called a Vanda Miss Joaquim a breed of Orchid Flower and was chosen as Singapores National Flower in 1981.
LION CITY.: in 1299 an Indonesian king who visited the Island called it "Singapura" which is sanscrit for Lion City.
FAMOUS SINGAPOREANS.: Include Fandi Ahmad , Gurmit Singh , Stefanie Sun , and Lee Quan Hew
HIGHEST POINT: Bukit Timah Hill is the highest natural point in Singapore and is only 164 Metres high. POPULATION :Apart from Mexico , Singapore is the most densely populated country in the world with 6,430 people per square Kilometer.
