This is a great State map card of New Mexico...that shows the many and varied places there are to visit in this state, Known as the "Land of Enchantment " New Mexico's first exploration by European settlers was in 1640 by Francisco Vasquez de Coronado a Spanish explorer searching for gold. New Mexico was the 47th state to join the US Union and gained statehood on January 6th 1912,
