Thank you Ruby for this another lighthouse card for my collection..The card shows the De Tour Point Light located in De Tour Michigan. I love lighthouse cards as they are always just so different and hard to imagine that these lighthouses allover the world can be so different..while serving the same purpose..
The village of De Tour marks the southern entrance to the St.Mary's River.The present structure was built in 1931 at the site of the De Tour reef located about a mile offshore.Overall the structure stands 63 feetall from the base to the to the top of the ventilator ball.
