A nice card of a similar release by Australia Post on Australian Native Animals . First day of release Maxi cards on the 01 July 2011.released in greenbushes WA 6254. The Bilby would have to be one of the nicest of our Native Animals and is in a very difficult period of time as it is so endangered.. There are many conservation places working hard to get this guy back from the "brink".
Bilbies are an Australian marsupial that is endangered and to raise money and increase awareness to the conservation efforts 'Bilby" shaped chocolates and various merchandise are sold in many stores throughout Australia as an alternative to Easter bunnies..
