Thank you Anny for another in the lot of these lovely cards that you have sent me..This Card shows the second of these" Rafflessia" Flowers. This particular one is known as "Rafflesia tegku-alinii" The smallest of the three known species found in Sabah. This species of Rafflesia is named in honour of Tegku Datuk Dr .Zainal Adlin, one of Sabahs most noted conservationists.. There are 15 Rafflesia species found in South East Asia and three are found in Sabah...Malaysian Borneo. Thank you so much Anny for these really lovely cards. They are really great.
