This is a lovely train postcard recently received by a fellow Postcrosser. Shows this great steam engine which does The White Pass & Yukon Railway, that boards passengers in Skagway near where their cruise ship docks. This narrow gauge railroad built in 1898-1900 during The Klondike "Gold Rush"is one of Alaska's premier attractions.The White Pass and Yukon Route is known as the "Scenic Railway of the World."
