I love to receive these as I collect them "Greetings from" cards showing the various countries posted from country of origin.and today I get this one from a postcard club friend in Mexico...Thank you so much Lando. They are so interesting as they show some statistics of the country shown..

FAMOUS MEXICANS : include Carlos Santana , Frida Khalo , Salma Halek , Montezuma II.
CHOCOLATE : Played an important part in the history of Mexican cuisine, the word chocolate originated from Mexico's Aztec cuisine.
ANCIENT CIVILISATIONS.:Mexicans ancient cultures include , The Olmec , Teotiahuacan , Maya , Mixtec , Zapotec , Tarascan, Totonac , and Aztec.
Native Plant The Poinsettisa is native to Mexico.
PICO DE ORIZABA : A dormant volcano that reaches 5636 meters and is the highest mountain in Mexico.
