I really like to receive cards that are Unesco World Heritage Sites..always in amazing places of unusual sites. This card is no exception it is a site located in Alberta Canada and is known as ...wait for it !! The" Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump.".The Buffalo Jump was used for over 5.000 years by local Indian population to kill buffalo, they would achieve this by dressing as wolves and driving the animals off the cliff. This is a Provincial Historic Site of Alberta. The Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump is located where the foothills of the Rocky Mountains begin to rise from The prairies 18 kilometers northwest of Fort Mac Leod in Alberta Canada on Highway 785 . This is a Unesco World Heritage Site and Home of a Museum of the Blackfoot Culture.
