So nice to recieve a card from Alderney making up my set of Channel Islands and so many thanks to my friend Kathy.from swapping with me... This is a lovely card showing many of the Gannets taking refuge and nesting at gannet rock on the Island. Alderney is the third largest of the Channel Islands and is the most northern island in the group. Many of the Islets and rockeries offer important areas of refuge for many different local and wild migrating birds..also it is known for its excellent areas to fish some say the best fishing in all of The British Isles. Thank you for this lovely card Kathy..
