I love this card and this swap was a must having fender guitars myself .I just had to have this card that shows the original Fender Statocaster of 1954 vintage that was the prototype of this type of guitar owned by the legendary Eldon Shamblin. This is the ultimate battered "strat" so worn, and discloured after so many years of continuous hard use by Eldon Shamblin who was one of the very pioneers of the electric guitar..Shamblin joined "Bob Wills Texas Playboys" as this was one of the first bands to feature electric guitars in 1936. Wills friend Leo Fender gave Eldon Shamblin this "Shoreline Gold Stratocaster" prototype in 1954 and he continued to play it for over forty years until it became to valuable to risk taking it on the road anymore...What a great guitar..There is not many great rock musicians that have not played a "Fender Strat"..Thank you Wendy for this great swap..
