United States of America

Boston National Historic Naval Park.

Recently on a visit to this amazing National Naval Park that is located in Boston I was here to see the oldest USN fighting ship The USS Constitution..also during my visit here I also visited the USS Cassin -Young ( DD793 ) This is  A World War II Destroyer (as the DD 793 suggests ) and a survivor of many battles fiercely contested in the Western Pacific Operations of that war.  She is typical of the many ships built at The Charlestown Naval Yard and provides a striking comparison with Americas Oldest commissioned Ship "The USS Constitution". along with a marvellous Maritime Museum This National Historical Naval Park here in Boston is well worth the days visit..I enjoyed it immensely. The time spent on these naval vessels here was most interesting..especially aboard the Cassin -Young.
This card is a souvenir postcard of my day here at this National Naval Park.
