THE VUNG TAU SAIGON EXPRESS..

Vung Tau : VIETNAM :  (Journey # 1 )

 A quick visit across to Vung Tau from Saigon for the day was a good trip across the water on the local hydrofoil. This card shows the Vung Tau Saigon Bus ready to leave Vung Tau, with all its luggage aboard..A good day spent here on the waterfront talking and watching fishermen/women loading and sorting their catch for the day,and leisurely strolling along the beachfront and through the local parks enjoying their coolness of the day...I also had the chance here to talk to some ex-pats there that decided to stay or return to Vietnam after the war, Popped into an Aussie bar, had a great steak sandwich and a few icy cold beers once again enjoying being in the coolness out of the heat of the day.
 This was a great souvenir card from my day in Vung Tau..one of many enjoyable excursions I took from Saigon while there on my "Around the World by Train" Posted  Saigon May 2009
