  I do not often get Black / white postcards ,and thisone is rather different and is "entitled Pianos in a  row  "  hard to count how many women  are in the photo playing piano ?   but is quite a few ! The card shows various photos over the years of Queen Elizabeth  II ,,  What a wonderful reign she had and what a wonderfully dedicated  time she had while serving as the Queen of Britain  The British Isles The Commonwealth and all her  protectorates.. and yes you are correct she will be surely missed.

  A great Baseball field card for my Collection.  Thank you so much Corey for this Postcrossing swap card showing the " Coors Field " home of the  "Colorado Rockies" Major League Baseball team. Built in 1995 this stadium can seat 50,000 baseball fans and is an updated version of the  classic urban ballpark and has also views of the rocky Mountains  thanks Corey for this great card . I love Coors beer !!

  Lighthouses are anotherfavourite of mine mainly because they are never the same, This is a special lighthouse card as it is a UNESCO world Heritage site.  Thank you   Merci Beaucoup  Morima for this great card choice.  This is a Postcrossing card and This  active lighthouse is the Cordouan and is located in South Eastern  France .

 Cordouan Lighthose : Is an operating lighthouse that is located 7 kilometers  ( 4.3 miles ) out at sea near  the mouth of The Gironde Estuary , at a height of 67.5 metrs high ( 22 feet ) it is the tenth highest "traditional "lighthouse in the world. The Courduan light house was a listed as a National Monument in France in 1862 and recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2021.

 I just love train cards especially now the super fast trains  and this is the first to do so The Japanese Shinkansen.  This card shows a recent model and this is the Tokaido Shinkansen,, This is a must do for me and look forward to the day that I can ride these Shinkansen trains,This is a Postcrossing card and many thanks to Asami for this great card for my train collection.Arigato Asami..

 Tkaido Shinkansen is part of the Japanese  high speed rail line that is part of the Japanese high speed train Shinkansen network. ,along wth the Sanyo Shinkanse  it forms a continuous railway through the  Tokaido Corridor . This was opened in 1964 and runs between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka .This was japans first high speed rail line .Along with it being the oldest high speed rail line it is also the most heavily used . The operating speed is 2875 KMPH. ( 177 MPH ) .The Shinkansen networks sees many different models ( types ) of the Shinkansen

The currency is the Euro and The language is Italian. This is one of four small countries ( principlaities )  in Europe the other three being Andorra ( Spain )  , Monaco  ( France )  and Lichtenstein ( Switzerland ).

  I find at this time  I need to mention the passing  of Queen Elisabeth  II  in respect , while not being a devoted Monarchist I  recognise a great woman who with great reslove and dedication served her position as Queen for seven decades . Th longest serving Monarch in British history. The one thing that I admired about her , apart from her dedication to duty , was that she was an animal lover and loved her dogs  ( "the  Corgis " ) and all of her horses .. A person that  loves and cares for their animals as she did  is a person with a big heart and is to be admired ..So I beleive it is a sad day for many people worldwide in all her realms in The Commonwealth will grieve her passing and she will be sadly missed.

   Thank you dear Inge for this card from your recent  trip on the Rhine Ruver.  This is a trip that I promised myself but never did.The  lovely card shows the statue of "The Loreley"  a famous woman in German folklore  and is  located in the "Middle Rhine". This location  is a 132 meter high steep  slate rock  on the right bank of the Rhine River  "Rhine Gorge "  or (Middle Rhine ) or Sanky Goarshausen Germany and is part of the  Upper Middle Rhine Valley. The 1930's  Loreley Amphitheatre is on the top of the rock. "Loreley" herself is a siren of German mythology, of great beauty and delicious song ,who was placed on the rock on the Rhine .. and along with her song was known to seduce the navigators.,  her statue stands on the  banks of the river in The Rhineland . This is a Unesco World Heritage Site.

    What a lovely card of this most unusual train . The" Wuppertaler Schweberebahn"  (Wuppertal suspension Railway ) This unique train that hangs from this  suspension  railway is located in Wuppertal Geramany . I would love to ride on this unique little railaway .

The Wuppertaler Schweberebahner..  ( Thw Wuppertal Suspension Railway.)
     This train operates on a single line and has 20 stations  . The Construction began in 1898 and  was overseen by The Governments master builder Wilhelm  Feldmann. On the 24th October 1900  Emperor Wilhelm II participated in its first run.The cost of construction was 16 million gold marks. The Railway was closed during WWII due to significant damage and was re opened as early as 1946 .

 Lake Bled  is located  at the foot of The Karawanks Mountain range near the border with Austria. and is about 50 kilometers northwest of The Nations Capital city Ljubjiana. The  Lake is in the Upper Carniolan region of north western Slovenia where it ajoins the town of Bled . This is a major tourist destination .Bled Castle is a mediaeval castle  built on a precipice  above the City  of Beld in Slovenia overlooking Lake Bled. The castle is beleived to be the oldest castle in Slovenia and is the most visited tourit attractions in Slovenia. Nowadays the Castle is employed as a Hustorical Museum  with a collection that represents the Lakes history.
  Bled Jazero Railwa station is the  Principal Railway Station in Bled  and is located above  the west coast of Lake Bled.

   Just Arrived .. this wonderful train card  ..  THis card is a Postcard United card and I love it  !! such a great card that shows The  Chinese Quinghai -Tibet Railway .  This is the highest train ride in the world and also a very long ride as well from Beijing To Lhassa in Tibet,,  such a  highaltitude that the train has oxygen supply throughout  the train due to the extreme altitude.  This is an astonishing acheivemnt to see how the Chinese workers  built this rail way line at such an extreme altitude.  This is a train journey that I would  surely love to take as it is oe of the worlds great train journeys. Thank you Isaac for this great card that I can add to my railway and trains collection of postcards.. Xie Xie.
