 Thank you Arnold  for this  another surprise from Iceland.  I must thank you mate as I know you have a busy medical schedule and thanks for taking the time out tosend me yet another card frm your visit there in Iceland . The card shows  one of the famous horses  (Ponies ) of Iceland .  What a nice card Thanks mate.

 What a nice card showing these two little Icelandic Houses   please note the "earth clodding" on the roofs  for insulation from the fierce cold weather ....so nice to receive a card from Iceland as I dont get many and two from the same person tis week  awesome.  Thank you Arnold   I really appreciate these cards that you have taken time out from your busy schedule to send me.

ELECTRICITY: Iceland is the largest Energy of electricity per capita produced in the world due to the utilization of Hydroelectric and geothermal power.
FAMOUS:  "GEYSER" The Haukadatur Valley is the oldest known geyser in the world.
HEAD OF STATE.: Vigdis Finnbagodittor President (1980 - 1996 ) was the worlds first directly elected female head of state.

Thank you Anaik..great card...from an amazing place.. Thank you for remembering me from your travels.This interesting card is from Pingvellir National Park .. A Unesco site I believe that here you can walk between the Eurasian and and the North American tectonic plates..!! The card shows a View from Pingvellir National ParkThis is an historically important area as it is the site of the "Original Parliament "(Almannagja) The Alpingi in the year 930. Geologically the area displays abundent evidence of Continental drift between the Eurasian and North American plates.The drifting has caused the many "fissures" and rifts in the valley floor some of them are water filledThank you Anaik for this fine and interesting card.
